The complex problems of online learning in synchronous and asynchronous because a reduction the social life students. It is necessary to do collaborative observe dynamics interactions groups during learning. purpose this study was group student self-efficacy uses descriptive qualitative methods with data triangulation through observations, interviews surveys. Junior high school research subjects used discussion method on WhatsApp (WAG). WAG. Aspects that are observed division roles groups, leadership, contributions when presenting ideas or ideas, contribution task work, interdependence groups. Self-efficacy using indicators mastery experience 78% junior 73.3% school, vicarious 76.5% 78.1% verbal persuasion 71.4%, physiological affective states 75.6%. average percentage students' medium category, namely 74.2% for 75.6% senior
